LP2 Trip to Nower Wood
Wednesday 21st March
On Wednesday, the Year 4 boys enjoyed a wonderful outing to Nower Woods, Headley, where they mastered the skill of orienteering. They had to follow a trail, using compass bearings, collecting letters upon the way so that they could find the hidden animal. After they had played a game explaining food chains and habitats the boys became explorers and went on a mini beast safari discovering and collecting all kinds of creepy crawlies. Once they’d used keys to identify them the boys made natural sculptures of their creatures. Great fun was had by all!
