Monday 12th March
British Science Week got off to an exciting and incendiary start with interactive assemblies for all year groups led by the 'Mad Professor'. The boys ignited cloth soaked in rocket fuel, launched mini rockets and handled non Newtonian fluid - everything from rocket science to particle physics! A highlight for Prep and Elements was a visit by Mr Barr who took part in a demonstration about thrust using a giant beach ball. All boys made impressive posters about exploration and discovery which are displayed around the school and will be entered into a competition led by The British Science Association. Thanks to all staff and parents for supporting this learning.
