In the first weekend of the half term 42 boys in the Prep year went on a residential trip to Kingswood Activity Centre in Ashford, Kent. The purpose of the camp was to build and establish effective leadership and team-work skills in preparation for their final year at Donhead. The weekend was extremely busy and filled with challenging and fun activities. The boys were kept busy from the moment we arrived until we left. The activities which seemed most popular were the 3G swing; (where the boys experienced force up to three times greater than gravity) quad biking and the zip wire, to name just a few. The boys also thoroughly enjoyed the evening activities, especially the pool party and the final night disco, where they had the opportunity to show off their dance moves to one another! Thank you to all the boys for a wonderful weekend. As you can imagine out of all the schools on site, the Donhead boys came out top with their behaviour, manners and most especially, the support and encouragement they gave to one another. Thanks must also go to all the staff that made the trip such a success.
