Lower Prep 1 enjoyed a Roman History Workshop, given by Retrospectacle.  Some boys had the opportunity to dress in Roman attire and act out scenes dressed up as Julius Caesar, a wealthy Roman, a slave, a soldier and even Boudicca.  We were able to touch genuine Roman artefacts and try writing with a stylus on a wax tablet.  Some of us even had the chance to play knucklebones.  The session ended with some boys performing the 'testudo' or 'tortoise formation' with shields.
