Donhead is a non-selective, Roman Catholic preparatory school. We do not select, therefore, purely on the basis of academic merit believing that children have talents in many different kinds of areas and that their academic abilities and potential can be realised at very different times in their personal development. This does not mean, however, that all applications are accepted. Through our interview and assessment procedures we will identify those children for whom, either for social, emotional, behavioural or academic reasons, a placement at Donhead would not be appropriate. Such applications will not be accepted.
