Regular assessments are carried out to help inform the teacher of progress, and monitor strengths and weaknesses. Teachers liaise with parents if areas of concern are identified, and extra support from the Learning Support team will be introduced if appropriate.
Key Stage 1 Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) are taken at the end of Year 2.
