On Friday 14 September, LP1 set off on their first school trip of the year to Bushy Park. Under the careful tutelage of the Field Studies Council (FSC), the boys learned about maps – from the different types of maps that they might come across to reading coordinates on those maps. After lunch, the boys put their newly acquired skills to the test with a team based orienteering challenge (finding different pictures and symbols located around Bushy Park). A great learning experience and a fun day was had by all. Big thank yous to the three parent volunteers, Mrs Hassett, Mrs Morrinson and Mrs Vowles. Semper Magis!
