Life after Donhead
Upon leaving Donhead at 11 our pupils go onto a wide range of highly selective independent and state schools.
At Donhead we pride ourselves on working closely alongside you to find the right school for your child. We view every child as an individual and take a bespoke approach to preparing them for their 11+ assessments and scholarship applications.
Our well established relationships with future schools ensure that we know what each school demands from their entry process, this is illustrated in the list below showing the places, scholarships and awards won by our students in previous years.
Information Evening
We hold a Senior School Information Evening early in the Michaelmas Term for parents of children in Years 4 and 5. We try to cover as wide a spectrum as possible of the schools in which our parents have expressed an interest. Parents may also request a meeting with the Headteacher to talk through their options for secondary schools at any time.

Donhead students have been offered 27 scholarships and this equates to 33% of our leavers transferring with a scholarship.

In total we had 24 scholarship offers and 29% of our students are transferring to senior school on a scholarship. 45% of applications to independent senior schools returned with a scholarship offer.
