Welcome to Donhead Preparatory School
A Jesuit Preparatory Day School for boys aged 4 - 11 years
At Donhead we aim to offer education at its most varied, providing a curriculum that is both academically challenging as well as recognising the importance of all areas of a child's development.
All our pupils are encouraged to develop their talents to the full, whilst placing them in the wider context of the community. In this way a pupil's development and growth is not just personal, but is sensitive to the needs and aspirations of others both in and beyond the school.
Our aim is to instil a sense of 'service' and concern for others in the pupils of today, in pursuit of the Jesuit ideal of developing men and women for others.

17/05/13 - 'Active Reading' Talk for Parents
Message from the School Office
Mrs Penny Frost, SENCO, will give a talk on ‘Active Reading’ to parents on Monday, 3rd June at 7.00pm in the gym. The talk will cover the basics of how we learn to read, where difficulties can develop, and how parents can actively support their children’s reading at home. The content of the talk will be useful for all year groups.
