Welcome to Donhead
A Jesuit School where children are honoured, cared for and believed in
The Donhead of 2016 is in robust health. This September saw the completion of our 10 year, £8m facilities development, with the final stage giving us the benefit of four new air-conditioned classrooms, a Chapel, an Art Centre and a 150-seat Auditorium for Music and Drama. The St Nicholas Owen Building was officially opened by Bishop Nicholas Hudson (Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster and old boy of Donhead), accompanied by Fr Dermot Preston SJ (Provincial of the British province of the Society of Jesus), and Fr Paul Fletcher SJ (Jesuit Superior in Wimbledon) on 21st September 2016. 16/11/16 - Zig-Zag Lines
Message from the Headmaster
There has recently been an increase in the number of parents stopping on the zig-zag lines outside school to drop off children in the morning. Could I please remind everyone that it is illegal to stop on the zig-zag lines between the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm and would request that parents do not stop there, even momentarily. Stopping on the zig-zag lines causes a hazard for pedestrians (mostly children) crossing the road and also seriously disrupts the flow of traffic along Edge Hill. Thank you.
