Welcome to Donhead Preparatory School

A Jesuit Preparatory Day School for boys aged 4 to 11 years

At Donhead we aim to offer education at its most varied, providing a curriculum that is both academically challenging and recognises the importance of all areas of a child's development.

All our pupils are encouraged to develop their talents to the full, whilst placing them in the wider context of the community. In this way a pupil's development and growth is not just personal, but is sensitive to the needs and aspirations of others both in and beyond the school.

Our aim is to instil a sense of 'service' and concern for others in the pupils of today, in pursuit of the Jesuit ideal of developing men and women for others.

Driveways on Edge Hill

Our neighbours have been in touch regarding the increasing difficulties thay are facing with cars parking across their driveways at the start and end of the school day. I fully understand the problems faced at these times but I promised to write to ask you to please not park in any way that prevents access to, or exit from, their properties. Thank you.

Woodcote House

I recently visited Woodcote House, a boarding and day school for boys up to 13 years of age, near Windlesham. The school prepares children for all the top boarding and day schools in southern England. I was very impressed with the ethos, programme and boarding arrangments of the school. I thought it might be of interest to any of our families thinking of a boarding school education for their son, but wanting to stay close to home until 13. Woodcote House are holding a Drinks Evening in Wimbledon on Thursday of this week, January 29th. I have been sent some invitations to this event and so please contact me should you wish to attend. Thank you.

16/01/15 - Zig-Zag Lines

Message from the Headmaster

Please can I remind all parents not to park on the zig-zag lines outside the school. The lines are accompanied by a Traffic Regulation Order which makes it an offence to park there. The Traffic Regulation sign can be found near the zig-zag lines and states the times during the day when parking there is an offence. Thank you.
